The charity I've chosen is The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV). They are a US-based social change organization started in 1990 that is dedicated to creating a social, political, and economic environment in which violence against women no longer exists. They have an exceptional score on charitynavigator.com, and actually have had some meaningful impact for their cause.
