keycap Commission work

commissions are currently: closed!

——— Life is a bit hectic right now, so gonna put a pause on commissions for a bit ———

If you would like to contact me about a custom keycap commission, please fill out the form below. Note that commission work is done per my schedule, as I see fit, and there is no guarantee that I will take your commission. However, I love doing custom work, so if I do take it, I will make the item exactly as you desire, and will photograph it from multiple angles before sending to ensure it meets your expectations. Commission work is time and stress intensive, and is priced as such. If you have any questions about this process, feel free to reach out to me on my Contact page.

Also, here is an imgur album with blank templates of each sculpt for help with brainstorming and telling me what you want:

Rules, and a few things to note:

  • My commissions are not first-come, first-serve- I take them on as I see fit in a way that works best for my schedule. There is no guarantee that I will take on every single commission request, but I'll try my best to accommodate everyone. If/when I decide to take on your commission, I will reach out to you to get more info and work out details.

  • The more details the better- I can use some creative freedom as I see fit, but the more detailed you are with what you want, the easier it will be for me to make, and the more likely I will take on your commission.

  • If you are not happy with my first try at creating your custom cap(s)- I will re-do it/them and destroy any other existing tries. I want you to be 100% happy with the quality and style of the premium cap that you are paying for, and want anything you commission to be truly one-of-a-kind.

  • Pricing depends a lot on what caps you want, and the complexity of them, but is generally $150-200 per cap, and a bit more for kits/sets (or a bit less for blanks). Base prices are listed on the form for each cap/kit. Base prices include 2 colors, and adding more colors or more complex casting methods will increase the cost. When I contact you, I will discuss specific pricing with you. Also, I'll do discounts the more caps you get in your commission (usually 5% off per cap added, up to 25% off total).

  • I ask that once details are ironed out, and we are both happy with the colors/styles/effects of the planned caps that you give me at least 4 weeks to cast your commission. If more tries are required, or if you are getting a larger number of caps, then obviously this will require more time. Like they say: "Perfection does not come quickly or easily".

  • If you'd like me to colormatch a particular keyset, I'll ask that you ship me some sample caps from the set to match to, and I will send the sample caps back with your order. If I already have the set, then there is no need for that!

  • I will NOT commission a colorway that I have already done in the past. If you want that specific colorway, then you have to find it on your own. Commissions are 100% custom ONLY.

  • Each commissioned cap or cap set will be shipped with priority shipping, and packaged in my premium boxes with a custom wax seal.
