Dream Bird
Floating on the warm South American breeze next to the cool blue ocean soars a vibrant blue and yellow bird- the Hyacinth Macaw, or “The Dream Bird”. These majestic aeronauts are the largest of the parrot family, are very friendly and docile, and are also the inspiration behind the latest GMK keycap set designed by arq1999! The gorgeous set showcases the stunning blues and eye-catching yellow of the “Dream Bird” itself, fit for your desktop. I’ve tried my best to compliment the set with some caps that feature something I’ve never done before- encapsulated feather!
Yup, that’s right, these caps have real encapsulated Hyacinth Macaw feathers in them! (Don’t worry, the feathers were ethically collected from a bird that molted them naturally). Not only did arq1999 really get the color perfect to compliment these feathers, but they add quite a fun little texture to the face of Nayru! I hope you enjoy this challenging-to-achieve effect as much as I do!

Him and I have done a little mold swap, and I decided to make some special caps for a great cause: the preservation of the Amazon Rainforest! All the proceeds (minus the Paypal fee) will be donated to the Amazon Conservation Association- one of the top organizations in the world dealing with preserving the Amazon Rainforest, and saving the precious ecosystems it contains!
